6 Short Moral Stories | Moral Stories for Adults | Moral Stories for Kids | In English
We learn moral values from stories, but what we learn from them leaves an indelible and lasting impression on our lives. Below are six stories that make our minds think and become the foundation of success.
1: Potatoes, Eggs and Coffee
It is mentioned once that a chef went to his in-laws to meet his daughter. When he inquired about her well-being, the daughter piled up her in-law’s complaints and said that I am tired of the fights and the daily to-to-to and my Living here is difficult. I have lived in this hell and I am tired. Enough is enough. Here, if one problem does not end, another one is born. Her father, who was a professional chef, decided to wisely teach his daughter a great life lesson. He brought it with him to the kitchen and put three pots of water on the fire to boil. When the water started to boil, they put potatoes in one pot, eggs in another, and coffee in the third. After that, they started gossiping with their daughter, who was also now shouting at them that what are they doing? But she wondered what was going to happen next. When twenty minutes passed, her father turned off the fire under the three pots. He took out the things from the three vessels. Then he asked his daughter very lovingly, Daughter! What is this? The girl said in surprise, “Dad! These are eggs, potatoes and coffee.” He said no, it is not so. Then they asked him to break the egg, but it was hard as a stone. Then he saw the potato, it was also scattered in the pot. But when they turned to the coffee, its pungent aroma forced them both to taste it. Both were very happy after drinking coffee. Then he said that the severity of the conditions for the three things i.e. the fire was the same but the reaction of the three was different which decided their fate. The egg was very soft inside, but the harsh conditions hardened it to the point where it was unusable. The hard potatoes were broken down by the water. But the behavior of coffee was very different, it changed the structure of water and immortalized its existence by merging with it. Hardships and difficulties in life come to everyone, now it is our choice how we react to it. Lessons of Success: Difficulties give you the opportunity to express your true self in front of and with others, whether we soften, harden or mingle with others and become immortal.
2: Prisoner of Thought
Once in my childhood, I agreed to go to the zoo. There was a strange scene where an elephant was tied with a small chain. He asked his mahawat that this is such a big and powerful elephant, can it ever break this chain? So the Mahavat (elephant’s breeder and caretaker) smiled and said that it can never break this chain. We asked a new question to the Mahawat in surprise that he does not have power? Mahawat said that he can break ten such chains by taking one step forward. The importance of these chains is like a thread for him, which can be easily broken with a little force and effort. But the elephant will never break this chain because we have limited and imprisoned its thinking. The method is that when the elephant is small, we tie such a chain to it. That little elephant tries hard to break the chain but it doesn’t break from him. He gets tired of trying and this is the moment of our success that at that time it is imprinted in the elephant’s mind saying that the chain will not break anymore and thus we manage to keep it under control for the rest of its life. An elephant is a prisoner of his thoughts, not ours. His freedom is a few steps in front of him, but the imprisonment is not visible to the mind. Rather, if it is said that he is free but the slave dies, then it will not be wrong. That day. Learning that no matter how much the world binds you with big chains, you can keep your thoughts free and avoid the slavery of thoughts, which is the first solid step to success in any field of action.
Lesson: People are often prisoners of their thoughts but they don’t know. Keep your thoughts free for your freedom and success.
3: Ease in difficulties
Once upon a time, a king thought that he would know how responsible and action-oriented his subjects were. He placed a heavy stone right in the middle of the country’s biggest highway. And he began to observe silently what kind of reaction people show to him. First, a group of merchants and rich people passed by, and they all began to curse the king, why did he not remove this stone from there? Removed? And passed with him. Then some common people passed by, after cursing the king, they went ahead, but sent one of their companions to the Darogha of the city to meet them only by informing him about this stone. After a while a shepherd passed by who was tending his goats. When he saw the stone, he immediately came to it and tried to remove it, but the stone was so heavy that he could not remove it. A trick came to his mind, he tied a rope around the stone and tied it to some of his goats and tried again. After a little more effort and struggle, he managed to move the stone, and he saw that there was a pot filled with gold coins, and also found a rak’ah from the king, which read that after difficulties comes ease. are The Lord of the universe has hidden opportunities in our life even under the difficulties and our work and the main goal of life is to achieve them by continuous and continuous hard work and by trying different methods.
Lesson: Unsuccessful people say that difficulties kill, but successful people say that difficulties improve.
4: Don’t be blind
Once upon a time there lived a beautiful girl in a city. But she was not aware of her beauty because she was blind. One day, a boy saw her and fell in love with her. One fine evening, the boy told the girl that he wanted to marry her, but the girl flatly refused. Said that she is blind so she will not marry anyone so that someone else’s life will not be ruined. The boy asked with a sad heart that he would get married when she would be able to see. The girl replied yes. After a few days, someone donated her eyes, which restored her eyesight. She was overjoyed and happily went to meet her lover so that he could marry her. But on reaching there, there was no end to his surprise when he saw that the boy was also blind. Look at the irony of nature that the girl once again refused to marry the boy and forever and ever. She left the relationship. A few days later she received a letter in which the boy had written that I am leaving this city forever. I will never see you again. Just see the world through my eyes and be happy. The sight of her eyes is the gift of her beloved, so she kept searching for him from place to place, but she could not find him anywhere. Despite having all the blessings of the world, that girl left this world sad and sad. Our real benefactor has also given us many gifts, but we are not aware of them, so we walk around with sadness. Know and be thankful for God’s gifts before you run out of riches.
Lesson: Don’t be blind even with eyes and recognize and appreciate your benefactors before it’s too late.
5: The Blessings of Deprivation
Once upon a time there lived a group of frogs in a forest. Everyone was living happily that there was no rain for a year and drought gripped the area. All together decided to leave this area and go to another part of the forest where water and greenery are available in abundance. Everyone walked and went a little further, then two of them fell into a pit. These two frogs tried hard to get out, but to no avail. All the frogs stood on the edge of the pit and started looking down and when they saw that the pit was very deep and now it was almost impossible for them both to escape, they loudly asked them to accept the fate’s decision from the edge of the pit and loudly. Buland said that it is impossible for them to escape now. It is better that they give up and embrace death with laughter. One of the frogs heard and understood and stopped trying and waited for death, but the other frog kept trying again and again. He used to show more strength and activity in his every effort but luck was not with him. Even every part of his body started to ache. His pain was increasing with every effort. But he was not willing to give up his efforts. All the frogs called out to him loudly and said to accept the destiny and stop trying. But he was not willing to give up. At once he jumped with all his might and everyone was surprised to see that he jumped out of the pit. Everyone ran to him and congratulated him on his escape. One of them wise frog said you continued to try despite what we said and why didn’t you bow your head in front of fate’s decision? The frog who saved his life by working very hard recovered his breath and said sir! I can’t hear well and your words sounded like noise to me. And I was thinking that you were encouraging me and asking me to increase my effort even more. That’s it! I tried with all my energy and managed to save my life. Don’t let the negative words of others discourage you and take positive influence from them and continue your efforts, then you will be successful. Can’t stop.
Lesson: Often deprivation of blessings also brings blessings, but only if we continue our effort and struggle without caring about others.
6: Giving and Getting
It is mentioned once that a great training was going on in a big seminar hall on the subject of teaching life skills, in which fifty or sixty participants were increasing their knowledge and skills with great enthusiasm, so that suddenly the trainer took them all to one place in the hall. I asked to get together. Then each person was given a balloon to fill it with air and write their name on it. All the balloons were taken and placed in another room. Then all the participants were brought into that room and told to find the balloon with their name in the next five minutes and get a big prize. There was chaos and stampede in the room. Everyone wanted to find the balloon with their name as soon as possible and get the prize. In this run, no one could find the balloon with their name in five minutes. Then the same activity was done again, but this time the participants were asked to hand over the name written on it to the person in the other room with a loud call whenever they found a balloon. Within minutes all the participants had their own name balloons. The trainer said to the participants that the same thing is happening in our life, no one wants to give to others to get. Everyone wants to get their act together by pushing each other to the point of insanity. If you want to get anything in peace, you must first give it to others willingly. Whether it is happiness, wealth, peace or knowledge, it is necessary to give first. No successful relationship in the world can be one-sided. Now whether this relationship is business or social, give what you want from others first, so that they can give to you. May there be rain of blessings.
Lesson: Whatever you want from others, first give them what they want from you. This is the secret of great success.
